WILD GUIDE CENTRAL ENGLAND

ERRATA:

The owners of Compton Pools in Warwickshire have asked the publishers to clarify that picnicking is not welcome on the public footpath and bathing is not permitted in the lake. Thank you for your cooperation.

The managers of Enville & Stalybridge Estates have asked that we calrify that Shenstone Chapel is not accessible to the public.

Wild swim at a secret river beach dappled by willows, seek out a lost castle hidden within an enchanted forest, then watch the sun set from an ancient hillfort with a picnic of local cheese, sourdough and cider.

This inspiring travel compendium reveals the most exciting secret places in Central England, from forgotten pockets of the busy Midlands, to the iconic landscapes of the Peaks, Cotswolds, Welsh Borders and Lincolnshire coast. Covering Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Monmouthshire, Gloucestershire, North Oxfordshire, Rutland and Lincolnshire.
